ABOUT ABOUT

Medieval Feast 2017 –

February 18th, seating promptly at 6:30 pm

St James Parish, Lothian MD

The year is 1053 AD. It is the time of MacBeth in Scotland. While the Mad King rules the Feast, the Queen is haunted and the Witches conjure.  We will take liberties with both the Bard’s version and true history so no one is safe and everyone will have fun. Only the food will be truly authentic.

Enjoy a little history with a side dish of humor.  Shake off the snow and wintry doldrums and wear your favorite Medieval period finery (plain clothing allowed, too, if you must). Be prepared to enjoy numerous dishes prepared using traditional ingredients of the period. Just as at a great feast hall where each person supplied their own kit, we suggest  that you bring your finest period dining utensils, plates, soup bowl, mugs, goblets and napkins, candles (column styles stand easily on the table – if you bring tapers, bring candleholders, as well.) Place settings can be provided, if necessary.

Entertainment will include musicians, perhaps a story, and always a good time.  Traditional Dancing after dinner.  For additional information please email [email protected]. Advance tickets only, purchase tickets online at http://cssm.ticketleap.com . Tickets are $30, additional online fees apply.

Restrictions

CSSM has chosen Ticketleap to provide online ticketing services to both provide a convenience for members and benefit CSSM. Ticketleap specializes in supporting non-profit organizations and their ticketing fees are some of the lowest available. The fees charged by the big ticketing outlets average $7 to $9 per ticket. The fees allow Ticketleap to provide CSSM both online and phone support, sales reports, surveys of membership who purchase tickets, and various other reports. This information helps CSSM document our events and activities so we can maintain our non-profit status and better support our membership. We hope you continue to support CSSM and all it's events.
